Reaching a Generation: Disciples for Today’s Youth
In consideration of how pop culture and social media dominate the lives of millennials, today’s teens need a deeper understanding of God’s word and will for their lives. This year’s will serve to give life application and practical approach to help teens fulfill the mandate of God and to know His will for their lives.

What’s on your mind?
Objective: Bringing to the forefront internalized struggles and concerns that lay on the hearts of youth. To teach teens how God uses the internal to bring about external change, to youth that change can begin with them when they have a renewed mind.
Wednesday, May 15
What’s Holding You Back?
Objective: Discuss external influences that impact teens’ ability to excel in their purpose and how to remain motivated and empowered in spite of those obstacles. This class will also teach about vision and spiritual goals.
Thursday, May 16
Objective: Talk about current events and trends, and what the Christian stance should be versus what society says about it. There is a need for guidance among teens for how to process current events and how scripture answers these concerns.
Friday, May 17
What’s going to happen now?
Objective: Group discussion with teens on what they can do at their church and who they reach out to, in order to “grow” forward in Christ.
